WATT Drive - High Torque Servo Gearheads
The WATT Drive series of helical gearing servo gearheads provides economical motion and speed control with a variety of inline and right angle helical, helical bevel, and helical worm designs.
Evolving from our standard line of premium quality speed reducers, these gearheads offer higher torque capacities than planetary gearheads, up to 14,000 Nm. with attractive prices and more configurations. These gearheads are ideal for general purpose servo controlled applications.

| Features & Benefits: |
- Low Backlash for Precise Motion - Backlash as low as 5 arc minutes is possible for quick response and accurate positioning.
- Right Angle and Inline Designs - Several configurations provide various performance advantages depending on design.
- Shaft, Flange, or Foot Mounting - Multiple mounting options are available including shaft mounting on hollow bores, either integral or bolt-on output flanges, and integral or bolt-on mounting feet.
- High Efficiency for Maximum Torque - Helical gear technology offers the best efficiency for minimal power loss, as low as 1-2% per stage.
- Highly Rigid Cast Iron Housings - Cast iron housings provide higher rigidity than aluminum to handle the higher loads of more demanding applications.
- Wide Range of Ratios - Single or multiple stages offer a wider range of ratios than planetary gearheads. Ratios are typically not exact numbers.

Product Line Overview: Series H, A, K, S
Series H - Standard Inline Helical
An extremely precise and rugged design that can be foot mounted or face mounted on the integral pilot or to a larger bolt on flange.
Series A - Parallel Shaft
This model can be shaft mounted and fixed with a torque arm, base mounted using provided tapped holes, or face mounted with an optional bolt-on flange.
Series K - Helical Bevel
High efficiency, a compact design, and high torque capacity make this a very cost effective solution for high torque right angle requirements.
Series S - Helical Worm
With a lower cost than smaller helical bevels, but higher efficiency than standard worms, this model is ideal for speed control applications.

| Why Choose WATT Servo Gearheads? |
Not every servo controlled application requires multi-position accuracy. Some require speed control. Some require specific reciprocating motion. Some require repetitive cam motion profiles. And many require cost effective higher torque capacities than offered by traditional planetary servo gearheads. These are excellent applications for the Watt servo gearhead.
Although not typically providing exact integer ratios, programming in tooth counts allows easy control of these simpler motion profiles. And with extremely robust construction and multiple configurations, outstanding and reliable performance and maximum design versatility can be assured.
