R+W Series MK - Zero Backlash Miniature Metal Bellows Couplings
The R+W miniature metal bellows couplings featured in the MK series were developed for coupling applications with potentiometers, tachogenerators, angle encoders, and small, highly dynamic servo drives. These high quality compact couplings guarantee high precision, backlash-free angular motion transmission, particularly in closed loop situations.

Model BKL003 - Economy Class Miniature Coupling with Clamping Hub
(1 size with rated torque of up to 3 Nm)
Design Description: A very economical bellows shaft coupling with single screw clamping hub.
Bore Diameters: Available in these bore sizes only: Metric - 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 mm. Inch - 0.1875, 0.25, 0.375, and 0.5 inches. Keyways are not available on this model.
Temperature Range: -30° C to +120° C (3.6° F to 270° F). High temperature options available.

Model MK1 - Miniature Shaft Coupling with Radial Set Screws
(8 sizes with rated torque from 0.05-10 Nm)
Design Description: A simple and economical bellows shaft coupling with set screw connection. A dismounting groove is incorporated to aid removal from shaft.
Bore Diameters: Metric or inch bores from 1-28 mm, or 0.047-1.0 inches. Optional keyways available upon request.
Temperature Range: -30° C to +120° C (3.6° F to 270° F). High temperature options available.

Model MK3 - Miniature Coupling with Expanding Shaft
(6 sizes with rated torque from 0.5-10 Nm)
Design Description: A unique bellows coupling design with an expanding shaft on one side, for connecting to a hollow bore, and a standard single screw clapming hub on the other. Ideal for connecting encoders, or other small shafts, to larger shafts.
Bore Diameters: The expanding shaft has a standard metric dimension for each size. The clamping hub side has capabilities from 3-24 mm, or 0.125-0.875 inches, with an optional keyway.
Temperature Range: -30° C to +120° C (3.6° F to 270° F). High temperature options available.

Design Description: A unique two piece bellows coupling with a taper fit element for blind mounting where access to the tightening screws is difficult or impossible. Shaft connection is via set screws.
Bore Diameters: Metric or inch bores from 3-28 mm, or 0.125-1.0 inches, on the female bellows side. Metric or inch bores from 3-20 mm, or 0.125-0.75 inches, on the male taper hub side. Optional keyways are available, but may significantly limit bore capacities.

Design Description: A micro sized shaft coupling with a polymer flexible element and stainless steel hubs. Shaft connection is via set screws. Ideal for instrumentation and medical applications.
