DieQua Now Assembling Zimm
Screw Jack Systems
With the continuing goal of
reducing leadtimes for all Diequa products, we are pleased to
announce that we have begun to assemble Zimm
machine screw jacks here in the United States. Initially
the production program will include only the half, one, and two
and a half ton sizes, in both standing and rotating versions.
This new production program
will allow Diequa to provide quick delivery of small orders and
prototypes for basic screwjack designs. All service requirements
for these sizes can also be supplied from local inventory. Delivery
of in-stock sizes and configurations will now be possible in
one to two weeks.
For the time being, American
production will be limited to the more standard sscrewjack components
including the jack body, spindle, protection tube, and the vast
array of load connecting components. Zimm also offers a wide
range of other design options including specialty materials,
protection options, motion control options, and an assortment
of jack connecting and drive options. See
our website for more details. These, along with other machine
screwjack sizes up to 100 ton capacity, and a series of ball
screw jacks, will still be assembled and supplied from Zimm's
factory in Austria. Standard leadtimes will continue to be 4-5
weeks for these additional offerings.

Our newsletter was designed
to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters
that are primarily product centric. While products and services
available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve
around the personal and professional development of the design
engineer.
