Dual Output Phasing Gearbox
To solve the problem of maintaining
tension while registering printing or converting applications,
DieQua, in partnership with Tandler, has developed a new dual
output phasing gearbox. The concept allows a single input to
drive two outputs with the ability to phase one output independent
of the other. The significance of this is that registration of
the printing or converting roll can be achieved without upsetting
substrate tension and eliminates the need for independent drives.
Space and cost savings result along with improved performance.
The new design can be servo
or lineshaft driven for maximum design versatility. Models are
available for phasing a single output or both outputs. Several
sizes and ratios are offered. Contact your DieQua
Representative for more information on this exciting new
development.

a monthly email newsletter that features interesting articles
just like this one?
Our newsletter was designed
to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters
that are primarily product centric. While products and services
available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve
around the personal and professional development of the design
engineer.
