Visitors to DieQua website surpasses 100k in 2011

These days, a company's web site is quite often the main communication portal with the outside world. With less travel, trade shows, and print advertising, web search is the primary way companies are found and their products introduced.

After final analysis, Diequa was pleased to determine that more than 100,000 people visited our web site (www.diequa.com) in 2011. This was the second year in a row this milestone was reached. While raw numbers are not necessarily indicative of a successful campaign, Diequa only engages in targeted marketing, assuring that there is high relevance for those that visit our site.

Approximately 35% of the visitors were the result of organic search. With hundreds of pages of optimized content on our site, covering a wide range of gearbox, gearmotor, and gearhead technologies and solutions for both power transmission and motion control, first page search result positions were the norm for many key terms.

Approximately 25% of the visitors came via our PPC program through Google. Targeting appropriate key words and bidding for premium placement resulted in an excellent return on investment.

Another 25% came from our monthly engineering e-newsletter, Diequa In Motion. Featuring 5 columns including Diequa News, Personal Development, Design Technology, Product Focus, and Application of the Month, there are also links to the various product groups. With over 10,000 subscribers, this represents about a 20% open rate each month.

10% of the visitors link from a variety of engineering search engines and directories such as Global Spec, Thomas Net, Industrial Quick Search, Zycon, and Powertransmission.com. These are high quality visitors as they are often searching for solutions to problems or applications they have at the moment.

The remaining visitors come from digital advertising links, referrals from partner sites, links from our numerous micro sites, and typing in our URL highlighted in print advertising.

Regardless where visitors comes from they find a user friendly website with detailed product specifications, downloadable catalogs, access to 2d and 3D drawings, educational articles, application examples, and easy to find contact information.
