New Sales Partners Join The Team

DieQua Corporation continues to upgrade its sales force by adding new sales partners over the last several months. Working with established sales agencies that really know their local market has been one of the keys to DieQua’s growth.

Henry Chung, the principle of Intech Industrial Sales based in Traverse City, joined the DieQua team in the third quarter of 2010 to cover the lower peninsula of Michigan. After launching his agency and successfully providing mechanical and motion control products to OEMs and high tech distributors several of his customers asked him to pick up a gearbox line to help satisfy their needs in that area.

We knew Henry for many years dating back to his days in product management for Cone Drive. Even though there were some competitive lines there was always a mutual respect. So when the opportunity to work together became possible it was an easy decision to set up a partnership. Henry has already had significant success with DieQua products in his territory.

Another late 2010 addition for the Ohio territory (including parts of eastern Indiana and western PA) was Kenny Nobis of Nobis Industrial, based out of Columbus. Kenny’s product line up included engineered bearings and a variety of material handling solutions. The sales process for these products mirrors the consultative approach that is a hallmark of the DieQua formula. Finding the correct technology to satisfy specific customers needs is goal we share.

For the Illinois territory Ray Hamilton of Hamilton Automation joined on in early 2011. This was a homecoming of sorts for Ray as he was a direct salesman for DieQua early in his career. After a period in the mid 90s he went to work for Alpha Gear (now Wittenstein), eventually rising to the position of National Sales Manager.

A few years ago Ray got the entrepreneurial bug and started his own sales agency. When a recent opening in Illinois became available we agreed that a full range gear products line was just what he needed to complete his stable of motion control products while giving us access to a wider range of OEMs that he was already working with. It was a good match.

To say the least, DieQua is pleased to be partnering with these experienced and respected sales professionals. We look forward to long standing relationships and to the success, not only of our organizations, but also for our present and future customers that will enjoy enhanced customer service.
