DieQua Exhibits at EASTEC 2009
Although visitor numbers are down, tradeshows are still a great way to meet new prospects and gauge industry trends. Diequa exhibited together with our New England sales partner, Forbes Engineering, at the recent EASTEC Show held in West Springfield MA.
Held May 19-21 at the Eastern States Exposition Center, the EASTEC Advanced Productivity Exposition is the premier manufacturing technology event in the Northeast part of the country. Filling four exhibition halls, a variety of machine tools, manufacturing systems and automation technology was on display.
In spite of the challenging economy the number of visitors was surprisingly strong, with representatives from the medical, aerospace, packaging, printing, manufacturing, and automation industries in attendance. Many had specific applications to discuss. And as the only gear products supplier exhibiting we generated a lot of interest from those looking for mechanical solutions.
Forbes Engineering is a manufacturer representation firm handling sales and customer support in the traditional New England states. It consists of four sales and engineering professionals who are John Forbes, Paul Marchinetti, Bob Beck, and Jason Hartley, as well as administrator Diane Collatos.

Did you know that DieQua publishes a monthly email newsletter that features interesting articles just like this one?
Our newsletter was designed to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters that are primarily product centric. While products and services available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve around the personal and professional development of the design engineer.
