New Outside Sales Manager Position Created

DieQua is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Delafeld to the position of Outside Sales Manager, reporting to Chris Popp, the Director of Sales and Marketing. Her new role will be to develop and support our growing sales partner network.

Mary joined DieQua Corporation in late 2001 as a direct territory sales representative. She held that position for a period of approximately 4 years growing sales and establishing many new accounts that continue to do business with us today.

Following that, Mary was promoted to the position of Strategic Customer Development Manager, which was created to spearhead the establishment of a distribution network. While primarily having a direct to OEM sales focus, DieQua recognized the value of partnering with appropriate high tech and motion control oriented distributors to support system solutions on a local level. This new channel continues to grow.

Over the last two years, DieQua’s field sales philosophy has evolved, converting from a mix of direct sales associates and manufacturer representatives to an all independent field sales force. This has allowed us to multiply our number of localized customer support personnel by a factor of five, providing faster and more personal service. During this time Mary had been researching potential sales partners and establishing relationships. The result has been a rapid growth in focused territory coverage and an increase in sales opportunities.

Since Mary was instrumental in identifying, researching, and communicating with all our new sales channel partners it was a natural progression for her to continue those relationships in a monitoring and support role. And with the expansion of our field sales organization, a dedicated position was necessary to manage the sales activities, training, and other support functions required.
