DieQua Attends PTDA Summit
The Power Transmission Distributors Association summit meeting was held in sunny California last month. DieQua was there meeting and greeting and showing their wares.
The PTDA summit is the annual gathering place for power transmission distributors and manufacturers alike. This year a full service resort in Palm Desert was the center stage for educational sessions, a little fun, and a lot of net working between industry members.
2007 marked the second year for the Motion Control Showcase, which was a mini exhibition of motion control component manufacturers, of which DieQua was included. With more power transmission distributors evolving into motion control component suppliers, this event allowed the participants to see the latest offerings and talk to manufacturers about the possibilities of establishing sales partnerships. Golf outings and other social events were scheduled to aid in the development of personal relationships.
In the exhibition, DieQua highlighted many of their motion control components including their extensive line of servo gearheads, which now include models in stainless steel, as well as other precision gearboxes and shaft couplings. Conversations were continuous as many of the 1000 attendees had interest in our unique product range.
DieQua had the opportunity to strengthen friendships with many of our existing distributors and was able to meet and initiate discussions with several new potential sales partners. With our recent initiative of developing more localized services, with the intent of allowing more customers to experience The DieQua Advantage, the PTDA summit proved to be an ideal vehicle for spreading the word on what we have to offer.
Did you know that DieQua publishes a monthly email newsletter that features interesting articles just like this one?
Our newsletter was designed to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters that are primarily product centric. While products and services available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve around the personal and professional development of the design engineer.
