Distributor Network Development
Over the last year and a half, DieQua Corporation has been developing the framework for an authorized distribution network to provide more personalized services to those customers desiring local support. Heading this initiative is Mary Delafeld, our Strategic Customer Development Manager.
Over this period of time, Mary has established pilot programs with several prominent distributors in the Motion Control and Power Transmission Component Industries throughout North America. These programs include the determination of sales targets, training schedules, corporate communication, and engineering support.
While DieQua has traditionally been a direct sales organization, we have identified a need in the market place for more system solutions better served on a local level by distributors able to provide complementary products. By leveraging the existing relationships of these sales partners, the benefits of our product range can be more widely realized.
Although it will vary, a typical profile for the DieQua distributor will be an organization providing value added services including application assistance, engineering support, and in some cases system integration. A distributor with a strategy of increasing their motion control and mechatronic system capabilities would be a prime candidate. While many motion control distributors are strong in the electronics area, many lack a broad range of complementary mechanical drive components. This is where partnering with DieQua has been most beneficial.
DieQua Corporation offers perhaps the widest variety of motion control and power transmission gear products available from a single source, along with the knowledge of how and when to apply each type of gear technology. This allows the integration of the optimal component necessary to satisfy the application requirements. In addition, a range of connection and safety components are also available to complete the mechanical drive design.
DieQua is dedicated to providing a variety of sales channels to meet the various needs of our customers. The continued development of our authorized distribution network is yet another vehicle for achieving this goal. If you are a distributor looking to expand your mechanical offerings, we invite you to contact Mary Delafeld to discuss your strategic plans. If you are a user of our products, and prefer local support, give us a call. We will help you find the best way to satisfy your customer service and application needs.
Did you know that DieQua publishes a monthly email newsletter that features interesting articles just like this one?
Our newsletter was designed to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters that are primarily product centric. While products and services available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve around the personal and professional development of the design engineer.
