Coupling Data Updated
More models! More sizes! More capabilities!
The R+W product lines of bellows couplings, elastomer insert couplings and torque limiters have expanded. These new developments have resulted in a redesign of all the engineering catalogs to better highlight and outline the vast range of coupling and safety solutions now available.
From miniature to high torque models, these couplings and torque limiters are suitable for a variety of applications. The zero backlash bellows couplings are highly rigid, making them an excellent choice for encoder feedback in the smaller versions and dynamic servo applications in the larger sizes. A number of unique connection elements provide maximum design versatility.
The elastomer insert designs are also backlash free, with three different insert materials for varying degrees of rigidity and shock absorption. These provide a more cost effective solution where positioning requirements are not quite as demanding, but where zero backlash is still desired.
Torque limiters are available with both flexible element designs, along with a hub version for pulleys, gears, and sprockets. Four disengagement versions including single position, multi position, free wheeling, and load holding can be incorporated in every model.
Catalogs for the entire range of R+W coupling and safety products can be downloaded as pdf files from the catalog download page on our web site. Hard copy catalogs for all models are also available upon request. Catalogs for the miniature version, line shafts, economy couplings, and linear couplings will follow shortly thereafter.

Did you know that DieQua publishes a monthly email newsletter that features interesting articles just like this one?
Our newsletter was designed to be a little different than other manufacturer's newsletters that are primarily product centric. While products and services available from DieQua are highlighted, other elements revolve around the personal and professional development of the design engineer.
